Dave Aftandilian An unsettling dark beauty ripples through these dark ambient compositions, like a vast, glistening serpent sliding just beneath the ocean’s surface. Drones and echoes swirl and caress you like bittersweet memories. Siren voices wail their suffering into the void, framing the scene with black roses and bloodied thorns. Excruciatingly lovely.

How Deha manages to consistently create such deeply moving, emotionally raw and transcendent music at such a feverish pace is beyond me. With this release I wander lost in thick shadows shot through with blood-red, feeling my way toward an uncertain and potentially disastrous destination.
